Upon signing up for Reonomy, you will receive an email from email@example.com with a link to login. Click login to create a password. Once your password is created, you will be redirected to Reonomy’s landing page. Note that your username is your email address and your password is whatever you created.
To change your password click Account, found on the top left of Reonomy. Enter your current password, new password and re-enter your new password and click Change Password.
If you forgot your password, click Login, once you are on the login page select Forgot password? Enter your email address and click Send Reset Instructions. This will send you an email containing a link to create a new password. Upon creating a new password, you will be redirected to Reonomy.

To lookup a property by BBL, you must enter the borough code followed by the block and lot. You can find a list of borough codes below:

To find comps, simple search a property of interest and select Find Comps on the top right of the page. This will run a search for properties in the same neighbourhood as your subject property, with the same property type,+- 20% rentable square footage, that have had a sale in the last two years.
To expand your comps search, you can adjust and expand the filters on the top of your screen.

You can print a one page property report by searching on a property of interest and selecting File, then Print.
To find air rights on a particular parcel, first click Address and search by the Address or BBL…Scroll down to the Zoning card. Here you will find the FAR breakdown and available buildable air rights listed under Available Square Footage.
Usable vs Rentable SF
Usable SF is the total square footage of the building. Rentable SF applies a 25% loss factor to office space.
Ground or Long Term Leases
If there is a ground or long-term lease on a property, Reonomy will identify it on the Property Details page in the Lot Dimensions card. Simply click View to access the lease doc.
To run an ownership seach, first click Find and select the Ownership filter, found at the top of your screen. Here you can search by Owner/Contact name, Company name, Phone or Email. You can also click on a contact name from the Property Details page to see what other parcels that owners is associated with.
In Find you can save your results by clicking Save in the top navigation menu. Click Load to access your saved searches. You can also find a list of your saved searches on the landing page.
Once you have completed a search, you will find Sort Result at the top right of your navigation menu. You can sort by fields such as RSF, Sales Date, Mortgage Origination Date and more.
You can export results from Reonomy with our premium license. The premium export includes; address, neighborhood, property type, total units, RSF, USF, last mortgage, total debt, lenders, last sale date, last sale price, built FAR, number of buildings, up to three owner/manager contacts, owner/manager phone number’s, owner/manager emails. To upgrade your account to premium, please email firstname.lastname@example.org.
Once you have completed a search, your results will be displayed on the left. You can star properties by clicking on the star in the top right corner of each result card. Starred properties will remain starred and will be displayed in searches where they match the selected criteria. You can also access your starred properties from the List tool by clicking on Favorites.
Air rights search
To search by air rights, first go to the Find tool and click the Physical filter, here you will find Available Square Footage. Select SF or % Existing and start searching.
Condos and Co-ops
In Reonomy you can exlude condos and co-ops from your search or search for condos and co-ops exclusively. To do so, go to the Find page and click the Legal filter. Here you will find Condo/Co-op? Click the dropdown to select your preference.
There is a simple trick to find retail condos in Reonomy. First, go to the Find page and select the Physical tab. Here choose Has Retail? and select Yes. Next, expand the Legal filter and under Condo/Co-op? choose Condos Only. Overlay data, such as neighbourhood, to get a more targeted search.
Search by Lender
To lookup a lender, first go to the Find page. From here click the Operational filter and choose Lender. Start searching on a specific lender to see what properties they’ve lent on.
Recently Sold Properties
To find properties that have recently sold first go to the Find page and select Sales. Next select Sales Date. Use the date picker to search for properties with sales in the last month, year, two years, etc.
Reonomy covers all commercial real estate asset classes, including offices, retail, industrial and multifamily. Included in these classifications are mixed-use buildings, condos, vacant lots, hotels, and public facilities such as health and education. The service also includes some information for single- and two-family homes.

iPhone & iPad
- Launch the Safari browser on Apple’s iOS and navigate to app.reonomy.com/login.
- Tap the Share button on the browser’s toolbar (the rectangle with an arrow pointing upward). It’s on the bar at the top of the screen on an ipad, and on the bar at the bottom of the screen on an Iphone.
- Tap the Add to Home Screen icon in the Share menu.
- You’ll be prompted to name the shortcut before tapping the Add button.
- Once added, the shortcut can be dragged around and places anywhere, including in app folders – just like a normal app.
- When you tap the icon, it will load the website in a normal tab inside the Safari browser app.
- Launch Chrome for Android and open app.reonomy.com/login.
- Tap the menu button and tap Add to homescreen. You’ll be able to enter a name for the shortcut and then it will be added to your homescreen.
- The icon will appear on your homescreen like any other app shortcut or widget, so you can drag it around and place it wherever you like.
- Chrome for Android loads the website as a “web app” when you tap the icon, so it will get its own entry in the app switcher and won’t have any browser interface getting in the way.
